Recreating the Discovery 2

Coolhand recreates the Discovery 2 from the film 2010 for production as a scale resin-model kit.

Recent work for Coolhand saw him undertaking a recreation of the Discovery 2 from the film 2010, based upon the book by Arthur C. Clarke. Building both the interior and exterior of the model, the ultimate goal is to create a rapid-prototyped master from which a resin model kit will be created by Admiralty Model Works.
